Africa is a land where the skies stretch out endlessly in all directions, and the weather systems are as interesting to photograph as the landscape.

There are several reasons for this post today.
1) Weather is the theme for #frifotos (founded by Epstein Travels) on twitter today, so I thought I’d share some of my contributions here on my blog for everyone else to enjoy.
2) This post is linked to two of my favorite travel photo blog-sharing groups – where you’ll find more links to travel photography themed blog posts.

1) I’m getting in the spirit for my next travels, to Africa, this month! I’m so excited to be returning to my beloved Kenya and Tanzania, leading a photographic safari, and I wanted to re-visit these images before I return home with loads of new ones. Please stay tuned, as I’ll be sharing my adventures right here on the Mira Terra Travel Blog!
You have some beautiful pictures!
Love your photos — gorgeous captures of places I'm longing to go! Must be exciting to be leaving for Africa soon. I'll look forward to seeing your photos.

A great selection of photos. I particularly like the ones of the Namibian sand dunes.
Would love to be coming with you! Just got back from Namibia/Botswana and been blogging it. Hope to get back within 12 months.
The sand dunes are spectacular but every single shot is amazing and must have been even more incredible seeing them in person.
This is a nice web site. Good fresh interface and nice informative articles. I will be coming back soon, thanks for the great article.
